ANALISIS SISTEM DAN PROSEDUR PENJUALAN KAMAR HOTEL DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN EFEKTIVITAS PENGENDALIAN INTERNAL (Studi Kasus Pada Hotel Pudu Plaza Kuala Lumpur Malaysia)
The purpose from this research is to analyze how systems and procedures for the sale of room and how relate to internal control at Pudu Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The research adopted the questions from ICQ (Internal Control Qustionnaire). The type of research used is descriptive research using qualitative data analysis methods. Data collection techniques using interview techniques with the Front Office Hotel Manager. The results of the research : (1) systems and procedures for the sale room at Pudu Plaza Hotel has been running well in accordance with the established systems and procedures. (2) The sale of room at Pudu Plaza Hotel is supported by the application of computerized systems. (3) The use of passwords is used to regulate the authority to use data in a computer. (4) There is a separation of functions and tasks in each department, but there is still a double job, that is receptionist / front desk concurrently as a cashier. (5) Overall, the system and procedures for the sale of rooms Pudu Plaza Hotel is considered good. This can be seen in terms of internal control and recording. Pudu Plaza Hotel has recorded transactions that correctly and is supported by clear documents and authorized by the authorized official.
